Ever crave a snack while you're studying but can't pinpoint what you want? Or you don't want something too messy? We've all been there.

Foreign Language: Popcorn or grapes

This is the perfect snack to accompany flash cards since it doesn’t require a lot of finesse to shovel popcorn into your mouth. Mix up those vocab cards and eat a handful for every correct answer.

Philosophy: Cheese and Crackers

Just like philosophy, creating a cheese plate is a thoughtful art. Delicately top a salty cracker with a creamy slice of cheddar while debating Kant vs Aristotle.

English: Tea and Cookies

Whether you’re curling up to read hundreds of pages of literature or gearing up to write a 10-page essay, you’re in for the long haul. Channel your inner Brontë and set the scene accurately.

Science: Apples with Peanut Butter

With all of those facts, equations, and cells to keep track of, you’ll need something nutritious and protein packed to help keep your brain power up. A nutritious apple mixed with hearty PB will do just the trick.

Math: Chocolate-covered Almonds

Almonds are filling, easy to eat and super nutritious. But, let’s be honest, math is hard, so you deserve a little chocolate.

History: Trail Mix

Everyone has their own opinion on how to eat trail mix. Some mix salty and sweet in every bite, while other strictly keep them separate. But whichever way you match each bite up, there’s no denying how good it is all together. (Much like our world’s history, eh?)

If you're looking for healthy alternatives, remember that it's all about balance (so it's okay to indulge once in a while). Swap milk chocolate for dark, buttery popcorn for salted, or processed cookies for those low in sugar (or homemade, which can be used as a study break too).
